When using BeProfit with Shopify, transaction fees are automatically applied based on your current Shopify plan without requiring manual setup
BeProfit's "automatically synced fees" feature detects your Shopify plan and applies the correct transaction fee rates for each order. This ensures that your profit calculations remain accurate regardless of which Shopify plan you're using (Basic, Standard, or Advanced). To verify that BeProfit is using the correct transaction fees for your Shopify plan:
1. Navigate to 'Settings'2. Select 'Costs'
3. Click on 'Processing Fees'
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page
5. Confirm that "automatically add in the transaction fees" is enabled
Important Notes
- Different Shopify plans have different transaction fee structures (Basic Shopify has higher transaction fees than Standard Shopify)
- The automatic sync ensures these differences are correctly reflected in your profit calculations
- The system applies the appropriate fees to each individual order based on your active plan.
- If you change your Shopify plan, the transaction fees will automatically update accordingly
Additional Configuration
While transaction fees are handled automatically, you may still need to create operational expenses for other Shopify-related costs such as your monthly subscription fee.
