BeProfit allows you to track the Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for your affiliate and influencer marketing efforts. By attributing UTMs and expenses to your affiliates, you can view detailed performance analytics and optimize your marketing strategy.
How to Track Affiliate ROAS
1. Navigate to the Marketing Section
In the left-hand menu, click on Marketing. Under the Marketing section, select Affiliates & Influencers.
2. Add Your Affiliates
Click the Add Affiliate button.
Enter the relevant details for each affiliate or influencer you want to track.
3. Add Affiliate Expenses as Variable or Custom Expenses
To ensure your ROAS calculations are accurate, you can add affiliate commissions or payments as either a variable or custom expense:
Variable Expense: Use this if your affiliate costs are based on a percentage of sales or another changing metric, and you want to apply it per order.
Custom Expense: Use this for fixed, one-time, or recurring payments to affiliates. If you do not want to apply affiliate expenses per order, you can set up a recurring marketing expense:
Go to Settings > Costs > Variable and Custom Expense.
Create a Custom Marketing Expense and set it to recur daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, depending on your agreement with the affiliate. This is useful for flat-fee or retainer-style affiliate payments.
4. Attribute UTMs and Expenses
Assign UTM parameters and any associated expenses to each affiliate.
This enables BeProfit to accurately track sales and costs attributed to your affiliate campaigns.
5. View Performance Analytics
Once set up, you’ll be able to see detailed analytics for each affiliate, including ROAS and other key performance metrics.
