This article reviews the steps needed to give Viably admin priveleges to review your Shopify Store.
During your funding application with Viably, you are asked to connect your marketplace(s). Often times when you’ve connected your store (i.e. Amazon or Shopify) that read-only access should be sufficient!
There are *some* cases (i.e. when troubleshooting with Viably Support) where Viably’s team may need to have limited administrative access to your Shopify store. There are a number of permission sets, but to make things easy outlined the steps and permissions Viably requires, below:
1. In your Shopify Admin console click Settings then navigate to “Users and Permissions.”
2. Select “Add new staff member”
3. You’ll then need to fill out the details about this new admin member. Enter as follows;
-First name: Viably
-Last name: Operations
-email: operations@runviably.com
4. Now to select the appropriate permissions. Within the “Store Permissions” scroll down to the bottom and select ‘Finance.’
5. Expand the permissions within the ‘Finance’ module and select:
- View Shopify Payouts
-Manage other Payment Settings
6. Then click “Invite user” - Viably’s Operations and Support team will receive a secure invite to access your Shopify Admin console.
